Due to the overwhelming number of applications we receive for these volunteer spots, we may be conducting interviews. Once applications are submitted, we will notify candidates whether or not they move on to the interview round, if needed. Please note that applicants who are also Palisades Pool members and former clubbers will have first priority. We also ask that the applicant fills this application out themselves. We will confirm all spots by June 15th, 2025.

Please check which week(s) you would like to volunteer. You must commit to an entire week at a time. The Club is from 10am-3pm each day.

Week 1: June 29-July 2 (No camp July 3)
Week 2: July 6-10

Here is some of what will be expected of you this summer if you are selected to volunteer at Club Palisades. Please check each box and sign below indicating that you understand your role and duties:

Safety comes first. You will be helping to supervise young children who will depend on your good judgment. You may not engage in any activity that is unsafe and endangers the Clubbers, counselors, or your fellow volunteers. If you are unsure about a particular activity, our counselors will help you to make good decisions.
You are a role model for the Clubbers. Your behavior while at Palisades Pool should be the kind that we want all our Clubbers to copy. This includes both the time that you are on duty as a volunteer, and the time that you spend at the pool on your own. We do not want to ever hear from anyone at the pool that bad behavior is acceptable because our volunteers behave that way.
You will follow the directions given to you by our Head Counselors. This may include helping set-up, assist, and clean-up activities, assisting Clubbers in the changing room, lunch, or any other of their needs, and most of all making sure our Clubbers have a fun, safe experience at Club Palisades.
Overall Understanding: It is important to note that volunteers that do NOT meet the above guidelines may be dismissed from their role as a Club Palisades volunteer. If this should occur, this situation could result in a loss of community service hours earned.
Cell Phone Policy: Cell phones may NOT be used during camp hours unless approved by a counselor. Cell phones must remain in bags/backpacks during camp hours.

***Club Palisades assumes no liability for injury or damages arising from participation unless due to the willful fault or gross negligence of its agents or employees.
