Information on Limited Reopening

In accordance with MCHHS directives, Palisades will open for lap swimming on Saturday, June 20 at 9:30 am by reservation only. Lap swimming will continue at least through Sunday, June 21. If all goes well, open swimming, at reduced capacity and by reservation only, will begin on Monday, June 22.

As our utmost priority is to ensure the safety of our staff and members, and due to complexities posed by COVID-19 and subsequent restrictions and guidelines issued by state and local authorities, it is imperative that Palisades Pool members thoroughly read all of the information pertaining to Palisades re-opening procedures and rules.

Palisades Membership Update

As we await Montgomery County’s Phase II reopening and subsequent ability to offer lap swimming to our members, the Palisades Board is thoroughly testing a new reservation system that will be implemented once lap swimming is permitted. We are also creating a tutorial on how to use the reservation system as well as a lap swimming FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions), both of which will be posted later this week. Thanks for your patience and stay tuned!

2020 Palisades FAQ’s

The Palisades Pool Board has created a list of FAQ’s to answer questions related to the opening and usage of the facilities for the 2020 season. We are all hopeful for a full opening of the facilities sometime this summer but also need to address and follow the current guidelines provided by Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services (MCHHS) and/or decisions made by the Palisades Board of Directors on facility usage and limitations.

Please find the FAQ’s at: https://palisadespool.com/about-us/2020-palisades-faqs/

As your volunteer Palisades Pool Board, we are very happy to serve our wonderful and vibrant community. We ask for patience as we simply do not know what the future holds.
